The Future Will Soon Be Here

Hello Everyone!

You may have noticed that we’ve been putting out several videos over the past couple of weeks. Logically you may wonder - What is all of this leading to?  Today I want to discuss where we are heading at MacJewels.com and Wiresmithing.com.

Here’s the plan. At both of our websites we’re adding a Learning Center. These learning centers will host FREE video tutorials on the basics of Wirewrapping and Wiresmithing. You can have a look at one Learning Center has already been added to wiresmithing.com. In the coming week the second Learning Center will be added at macjewels.com. We’ll also use these learning centers to help you overcome problems that you may encounter as you create new works of wire art. That means that we need some feedback from you. Let us know some things that you would like to see covered in these FREE videos.

We will also be offering Project DVD’s that can be purchased from the Learning Center. Now don’t jump to conclusions about the video purchases. We won’t be offering these at astronomical prices. I think it’s a crime that some jewelry websites sell project videos for $60. Our plan is to sell videos that contain 3 to 5 projects for around $20 or less. You also be able to purchase individual video projects that can be viewed on your computer by selecting the Video On Demand (VOD) option.

We’ll begin offering Project DVD’s and Project VOD’s that feature wiresmithed projects. Why wiresmithed projects first? Wiresmithing is the future of wire art. It gives wire artists a lot more freedom to create mainstream pieces.

So as you can see we are working pretty hard to provide you with the information that you need to be more creative with your wire jewelry projects.

Here’s our latest FREE Video offering. It features the Basics of Wirewrapping – The Basic Wrap.

Later this week we’ll be adding a second video to this series dealing with overcoming three common problems that are encountered when wire wrapping.

‘til Next Week

Jim McIntosh
